Anna & Will’s sophisticated south coast Riversdale wedding began with a ceremony overlooking the Shoalhaven River, framed by flowers and love.
Anna & Will knew each other for quite a while before any romance blossomed. They were both studying medicine together at university and they eventually started to see each other more and more. Anna admits their relationship was a bit awkward, to begin with, although it lasted all through university and across a few cities. Their portraits were all taken on site as we casually walked around the scenic landscapes taking in all the vistas on offer. We also took advantage of the slick polished walls and art on display. The reception was also on site at the Arthur and Yvonne Boyd Education Centre, Bundanon Trust, which was styled with wattle and other gorgeous blooms, decor which they collected from op shops, Russian Dolls which they specifically bought in Moscow and their mid-century furniture. They incorporated as many personal items to make their wedding breathtaking. It was a beautiful night of heart felt speeches, many ceremonial vodka shots, crazy dancing with the bride and groom choosing not have the traditional bridal waltz instead opening the dancefloor to everyone and blasted ‘You’ve Got the Love’ by Florence and the Machine as their first party song. A beautiful day for a beautiful couple.

Alex and Nathan’s stunning Milton Park House Wedding in Bowral is a perfect one-stop shop where you can have a ceremony that seamlessly transitions into a night time reception.
They were married on a spectacular summer’s day in the most stunning garden setting with flowers woven into every part of the day. Guests enjoyed the beautiful grounds and enjoyed canapes and drinks on the Tulip lawn while we explored the magical pathways of the grounds as we took some candids portraits. Milton Park is one of my favourite weddings venues in the Southern Highlands as it has so many picturesque photo opportunities. The couple enjoyed an intimate reception in the main Orangerie reception room where they had arranged three large banquets style tables and Alex and Nathan sat amongst their guests sharing laughs all night long. The couple danced the night away to classic soul and funk music and choose Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” as the bridal waltz. (all good by me). I am so fortunate and humbled to be invited to document the most important day of people’s lives and will be forever grateful for my clients entrusting me to witness and be a party of their love story.
