I think most photographers will tell you that Somerley House wedding is just fantasitc. The glamorous wedding of Bethany and Blair proved to be no different, a magical day in a magical place.
I really enjoyed getting to know the couple and their story. Blair and Bethany went on a European trip and she had no idea Blair was planning to pop the question. Furthermore, after a beautiful day exploring the Almafi coast followed by an Italian feast in Sorrento. They went for a walk and he proposed overlooking the Amalfi Coast. I learnt after this Bethany began the wedding planning process. In addition, Bethany’s custom made gown was inspired by Dior and 1940’s vintage glamor and was made by wedding dress designer, Mary Ioannidis.
I witnessed a beautiful ceremony that was kept simple and traditional and was held at St. Francis Xavier Berrima. After that, an afternoon celebrity-style tea featuring all their favourite foods was served up by Sassy Catering. In addiotion, their guests to some amazing music and it’s still one of the favourite wedding soundtracks to date. I love music amd they had a great mix of music which included artists like Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Strokes, Sufjan Stevens, the Rolling Stones and many more artists.
